Poetry Celebration: A Swarm of Poets
A final celebration of Poetry Month. Adult & teen contest winners will be invited to read their winning poems and receive their prizes. We have invited some outstanding area poets to read, including former Rockland Poet Laureate Carol Bachofner, Jacob Fricke, Alan Clark, Dave Morrison, and Rockland’s inaugural poet laureate, Kendall Merriam. Hosted by current Poet Laureate Joanna Hynd.

Rockland Sculpture Race Info Session
Kim Bernard will present about the upcoming Rockland Sculpture Race, the history of sculpture racing and help attendees brainstorm ideas for their own entry. Individuals, teams, community groups and families are encouraged to attend the talk and submit proposals by June 1st to this fun, family friendly, community event.
