Class: How to check out an e-Book
Tuesday, October 29, at 2:30pm

Teen room (lower level).  Learn how to check out an ebook on your laptop or mobile device in this one-hour class.

The Maine Infonet Download Library (download.maineinfonet.org) is a lending collection of books and audiobooks for kids, teens & adults.  With your active library card, you can check out a title for up to two weeks (sorry, no renewals).  At the end of the loan period the title is automatically deleted from your device - no late fees.

We will help you download the free Overdrive Media Console app.  Tablet and mobile phone owners use the Overdrive app to connect with the download library.

Please configure your device to the library's wireless before the class begins.  As time allows we will look at other free sources of ebooks on the web.
